Stakeholder Pensions

Time to Retire - personal pension plan

Stakeholder Pensions must meet a number of minimum standards to make sure they offer value for money, flexibility and security.

The main differentiation is the low running costs.  Stakeholder Pensions have one type of charge, known as the annual management charge.  This charge is currently capped at 1.5% for the first 10 years and 1% thereafter.

A Stakeholder Plan allows you the flexibility to stop, start or change contributions, transfer your fund to another provider or change your retirement date between the ages of 55 and 75 without penalty.
