Investments

Investments take many forms of asset classes – National Savings and cash accounts, gilts and corporate bonds, property, through to different types of collective investments and direct shareholdings.

Every investor has their own risk profile and it is important that this is fully understood and explored before making any investment decisions. Our aim is to help our clients understand this risk before making such decisions. As well as risk, we take into account a number of other factors, which include financial objectives, investment term, taxation, asset classes and the importance of diversification.

Each investor will have a different portfolio based on their own needs and risk profile, which may include offshore investments for tax purposes.  Selecting the best combination of assets is vital for reducing risk and maximising performance.

Warning

The value of investments and any income they produce can fall as well as rise and past performance is not an indicator of future performance. Investors may therefore get back less than invested and should be aware of this risk before investing.
